Client is a leading provider of consumer-direct travel services for the leisure and business traveler.

  

Challenge
Client was faced with fast growth and increased hiring needs for sales and customer services reps in calls centers in various locations across the country. Dependent on the market and the skills needed, Client faced one of two problems:

  • managing the process to effectively screen and interview a high volume of candidates and manage the on-site scheduling of finalists who were interested, qualified, and available, or
  • improving candidate sourcing to generate candidates who have deep industry experience and experience with specific software package. 

In either case, Client did not have sufficient HR staff to manage the recruiting process and ensure adequate staffing levels for business growth. It needed help getting its organization ready to move to the next level.

Novotus Solution
Novotus assigned a team and developed a workflow to own the entire recruiting process. Client was responsible for requisition posting, final on-site interviewing, and candidate offers. Novotus owned all steps in between. During peak hiring periods, key stakeholders from Novotus, Client HR, and Client operations met weekly to assess, monitor, and evaluate.

Results

  • Client filled more than 400 positions, with interview-to-hire ratios of 2.5:1.
  • Improved hiring results and shortened timelines kept Client staffing levels within acceptable contractual requirements.

Challenge
Customer was opening a new call center in Latin America that would house sales, customer and technical support. Customer was 8 weeks away from targeted hire dates. To date customer had been unable to identify recruiting sources/partnerships that could provide candidate flow, and was in danger of missing targeted hiring and operational timelines.

Novotus Solution
In seven weeks Novotus:

  • Launched web presence specific to country as no job boards existed to handle heavy candidate flow.
  • Deployed enterprise software and processes to manage heavy candidate traffic and to automate and improve productivity.
  • Provided web-based recruitment management back office application with automated initial candidate screening and e-mail interaction and notification.
  • Provided web based groupware application for interview scheduling.

Results
Once again Novotus' innovative technology, methodology, and candidate pool combined to produce desired client results in a drastically reduced time frame and at tremendous cost savings. Novotus seamlessly integrates and cooperates with the existing human resource framework.
