Client is a leading provider of consumer-direct travel services for the leisure and business traveler.
Challenge Client was faced with fast growth and increased hiring needs for sales and customer services reps in calls centers in various locations across the country. Dependent on the market and the skills needed, Client faced one of two problems:
- managing the process to effectively screen and interview a high volume of candidates and manage the on-site scheduling of finalists who were interested, qualified, and available, or
- improving candidate sourcing to generate candidates who have deep industry experience and experience with specific software package.
In either case, Client did not have sufficient HR staff to manage the recruiting process and ensure adequate staffing levels for business growth. It needed help getting its organization ready to move to the next level.
Novotus Solution Novotus assigned a team and developed a workflow to own the entire recruiting process. Client was responsible for requisition posting, final on-site interviewing, and candidate offers. Novotus owned all steps in between. During peak hiring periods, key stakeholders from Novotus, Client HR, and Client operations met weekly to assess, monitor, and evaluate.
Results
- Client filled more than 400 positions, with interview-to-hire ratios of 2.5:1.
